The 2009 State Bee Competition will take place at NJSFWC Headquarters:
Sunday March 15,2009
55 Labor Center Way,
New Brunswick, NJ  08901

All District-level winners will be mailed invitations after the completion of all District Bees.
All District Bees must be completed by February 15, 2009.

Congratulations on being a part of the spelling phenomenon! Spelling competitions have been around for almost 150 years.  However, the last few years have seen an increase in the attention given to spelling contests, and the 2006 live television coverage of the bee was shown during primetime for the first time ever!...click on the link for the full article.
