Message from the Chair
Hello Jersey Juniors!  My name is Susan Fenker-Warner and I am pleased to be the Public Issues Community Service Project chair for the Executive Board for the 2010-2012 term.  It was a pleasure to meet and discuss public issues this May with Juniors at the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs of the GFWC - Junior Membership Convention 2011.

I have been a member of the Liberty District, Junior Women's Club of Verona, Inc. for seven years.  While in this club, I have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects, co-chair committees such as Adopt-A-Family and International Affairs and participate on the executive board as Federation Secretary.  Currently I am serving on the executive board of the Verona Club as co-chair of the Third Vice President - Membership position.  I am enthusiastic to provide you and your club with ideas about community projects supporting public issues for the state of New Jersey.

Please check the
www.jerseyjuniors.com website for bulletins with ideas for upcoming projects for your club related to public issues.  If you have questions or suggestions for projects in your community, feel free to contqact me at publicissues@jerseyjuniors.com

Did you know ....

The Great Falls in Paterson, has now been designated as a National Historic Park by law.  President Obama signed the legislation, authored by NJ's Senators Lautenberg and Menendez and Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr.

The NJSFWC supported this legislation....mission accomplished!  Juniors be proud!
